At the heart of the 230i Coupe is the 2.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 4-cylinder, 16-valve engine delivering 248 horsepower and generating 258 lb-ft of torque. Combine that with the 8-speed Sport Automatic transmission including steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters and you’ve got yourself a mighty performer on the road. The M240i is powered by an all-new 335-horsepower M Performance 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine with a maximum torque of 369 lb-ft between 1520-4500 rpm. All the BMW 2 Series models include a twin-scroll turbocharger with variable valve control (Double-VANOS and Valvetronic) and high-precision direct injection.
Sporty might as well be part of the 2 Series name because one look at the outside and inside is all it takes to see its sporty style throughout. Eyes are drawn to the sport kidney grille and advanced lighting, including halogen high- and low-beam headlights and halogen free-form front fog lights. All along the outside of the 2 Series is chrome-line exterior trim. Inside get comfortable in the standard 8-way manual-adjustable front sport seats which includes 2-way power-adjustable side bolsters and 1-way manual headrests. You’ll also find 60/40 split fold-down through-load rear seats in the back.
